Join Our Worship Team
Are you passionate about using your musical talents to glorify God? Joining the Worship Team at The City Church is a powerful way to serve the body of Christ and grow in your faith. We are looking for committed individuals who share our heart for worship and want to make a difference through their gifts.
Below, you’ll find the requirements to serve, along with the steps in our audition process. We can’t wait to see how God uses you to bless our church!
Requirements to Serve
To ensure our Worship Team is comprised of dedicated, spiritually mature individuals, we ask that each applicant meet the following requirements:
Church Involvement:
You must have been actively attending The City Church for at least 6 months. This allows time to build relationships and understand our culture and values.
City Group Participation:
We believe in the importance of community. To serve on the Worship Team, you must have attended a City Group within the last 6 months.
Serving Experience:
Applicants must have served on another team at The City Church for a minimum of 3 months. This ensures familiarity with the heart of serving and teamwork in ministry.
Audition Process
Our audition process is designed to help us assess your fit for the team while also giving you opportunities to grow and receive feedback. Please note that at any point during the process, we may determine that the Worship Team is not the right fit and encourage you to explore serving with another ministry team where your gifts can flourish.
Interview with Worship Director:
In this initial meeting, you’ll get to share your heart, hear about our vision for the Worship Team, and ask any questions you may have.
Video Audition:
Submit a video of yourself performing a worship song. This step helps us evaluate your skills and style in a relaxed environment.
In-Person Audition:
This live audition gives us a chance to experience your talents and worship leadership in a team setting.
Training & Onboarding:
If selected, you’ll go through a personalized training program to equip you for serving and help you feel confident as part of the team.
